I began developing a keen sense of aesthetics in my childhood. Early on, I demonstrated my makeup skills by playing ‘house’ and applying makeup for classmates. During my time at beauty school, my skills became more polished, and classmates noted that my makeup often attracted attention when they went out. This marked the moment when the path of beauty unfolded in my life.

In university, I studied cosmetic application and worked part-time as a makeup artist. After graduating, I became a medical aesthetician, finding joy in combining aesthetics with medicine. Through my experience in medical aesthetics, I gained unique insights into facial structural aesthetics, prompting me to explore various beauty projects. This journey eventually led me to the world of eyelash extensions.

With my keen observation and artistic skills, my eyelash extension business grew through word of mouth, even reaching overseas. Many clients make it a point to visit me for services when they return to Taiwan each year. As my clientele expanded to places like Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Vancouver, and the United States, I continued to enhance and refine my skills, even traveling to Korea and Europe to learn advanced eyelash techniques.

I noticed that clients are increasingly concerned about the health of their natural lashes. Modern lifestyles, characterized by excessive screen time, make the eyes vulnerable and sensitive. Therefore, I focused on researching how to make eyelash extensions more comfortable, minimizing irritation. Additionally, I adapted my techniques to meet changing client preferences based on different occasions. Through eyelash design, eye shape adjustments, and the use of weightless techniques, I aim to create styles that are comfortable for daily wear.

Being able to adjust to each client’s needs is a fundamental quality for an eyelash artist. I prioritize three key aspects in my practice: gentleness, low irritation, eye shaping, and weightless techniques. Rather than blindly pursuing length and thickness, I focus on creating a balanced aesthetic for each individual’s gaze.
